Gulf Coast Exposure Softball Camp

2025 Gulf Coast Exposure Camp

The Gulf Coast Exposure Camp will be a 2 day camp staffed with College Coaches across the softball ranks. The Camp will highlight both defensive and offensive drills including live game situations.

Day 1 will feature a full day of exposure type drills and workouts designed to highlight each players’ talent and ability on the field.  Defensive Drills will be offered on two fields which will enable a player to work out at their primary position as well as a secondary position, if so desired.  There will also be two Offensive fields allowing players two opportunities to show off their hitting skills.  Included will be live at bats at different stages ranging from tee work as well as soft and front toss on an open field. Softball Talk is a session where a College Coach explains the process, rules, etc., about the recruiting process.  Parents and players can attend this session.

Also on Day 1 will be timed running drills, POP time for Catchers, and a Pitching Session for players who listed their primary position as “Pitcher”.

Day 2 will be live game situations with College Coaches managing each field's activities and game situations. Participants will be divided into teams by position and each team will be scheduled to play two games.  Games will be ran on 4-5 fields to give each participant full opportunity to show their skills to the attending coaches in a live game environment. All games will have a full complement of umpires and college coaches to provide a managed game environment to make sure all players get the most out of the game times.

Camp Registration Insurance/ Refund Policy:

The camp now offers a insured refund policy via the purchase of a policy offered by Allianz.  This Registration Protector Policy provides coverage for lost registration fees when a camper has to cancel or leave the camp for a reason covered by the policy. The Gulf Coast Exposure Camp Management STRONGLY URGES ALL CAMPERS to purchase this policy.  This was a huge success for those campers who had this policy in the past and had to use it.  The value cannot be overstated considering the cost of the policy.

Again, we are strongly urging all Campers to invest in the camp insurance. This year we will start tightening up on refunding camp fees, especially when the canceling reason would have been covered by the insurance.  As well, last minute cancelations will be tougher to receive.  As always, we will do our best to help where we can but a full refund will be harder to receive.

Covered reasons for camp cancellation or interruption include:

  • Injury or illness to the camper or a close family member
  • Family employment issues
  • Transportation delays
  • Military/family/legal obligations
  • Weather emergencies that prevent the registrant from attending this event.
